Just as in the books, there are requirements for a cat to become deputy.
one the deputy-to-be must have mentored at least one apprentice, preferably in role-play
two the cat should probably be an existing cat, creating one for the position probably isn't the best.
three if the cat is a she-cat, they probably shouldn't currently be a nursing queen.
four deputy's are usually chosen by the clan leader, but in this case, they can be applied for. The leader does get final say.
